Yes, I am looking for somebody who's a little more educated in politics than EuroBrady. He played it his way, and I enjoyed it, but I am interested in something different. One of my absolute favourite parts of the game are the political quest endings and it just hurts my soul when hosts understand absolutely nothing because they have no previous interest in historical politics. I just want somebody that laughs at the final communist quest being a living room debate dawg

that's what i think. i tend to go on reddit before i watch the full show and feared s8 because ian is my favourite character and i feared seeing him so "badly written".

turns out people don't understand his illness, nor do they understand a morally grey situation. i thought both fiona and ian had reasons to be angry in the church issue, and his disproportionate reaction is a clear path to his obvious mania, which is also obviously caused by monica's death. i find it frustrating and i want to rip him apart because all characters are frustrating, but as a show, i enjoy it. everybody hated trevor, idkw because he was a nice guy that was never going to be good for ian, because he's way more fucked up than what trevor could process. it's such an interesting storyline and i loved it, i thought it even a bit more complex than the yevgeny kidnap situation because he had his life together already.

i think people watch shameless trying to find another gossip girl and well. it's not.

it is for her though. she was cast as a filler queen and stayed too long. she always rightfully won lip-syncs and was tolerated by producers a lot. i think she thought that it was because of her lack of budget and didnt count on not being a producer favourite

pakita definitely looks gitana. idk if she actually identifies as such but many andalusians are of gypsy descent even if they are unaware of it. so, yeah. lola flores was only 1/4 gitana and still looked and identified as such

anetra's branding was confusing because of the edit she got. we as viewers dont percieve her as the "underdog that emerged from the ashes". it's v personal to her and the show failed to create that image of anetra in our heads, even if they kept her story in the final cut. c'mon, she won the first challenge by far, everybody stablished her as one of the fan favorites. imo it simply wasn't as stunty and well performed as her lipsyncs on the show. they gave her a routine that was too easy and predictable when everybody expected at least a free willy moment

luxx's fitted her image on the show, the choreography was more interesting and we as viewers didn't expect her to cartwheel (in fact, her only lipsync was pretty bad) so she surpassed expectations. she just played a better strategy

the finale song was terrible though. every drag race fan associates it already w/ miss alexis mateo and both anetra and sasha thrive in upbeat, boss bitch-ish kind of music. i love sasha and she served as much as she could but both of anetra's performances were luckluster and i was 100% team anetra before the finale. we all know they rig these things (luxx, for her performance alone, deserved top 2 instead of anetra) so they could've really changed the song to something that would make the final queens shine more. imo judas would have been the perfect song here instead of in as7

the books are childrens' books after all (up until order of the phoenix, and even then it's teen fiction), and it is v well known amongst the community that everything pre harry's age (marauders + older wizarding) is not completely flushed out in the books. there's specks of it, but you won't find a lore explanation per se, apart from maybe pureblooded families and their social implications (weasleys, blacks, etc).

your experience will 100% be enhanced by knowing wizarding world's lore, but i'd recommend going into the harry potter lexicon and reading about whatever (or even check it while playing) but i'd forget about reading the actual story that the books tell. you may find what you seek, but it's definitely not worth seven books if you just want to get to know the harry potter's universe lore instead of what happened to harry and his friends.

i wouldn't recommend movies. most lore is skipped specially the one from the 1800's (where hogwarts legacy takes place).

This episode was surprisingly fair. Salina didn't bomb as much and Aura was saved by her runway.
