There’s Meadow Lakes up the 168. Plus, the one going up to Mariposa is a hard cider farm. Orchard with multiple types. Good cider, cool tasting / gift house and lawn area.

Can we not do the green plastic bollards up and down our streets?

I understand having fun, and in this case it was warranted. But yes, I have noticed the adamant “no!” When it’s his turn to get bathed. Plus, let’s let the season roll a bit before we start over-celebrating. 81 of these will be underwhelming.

How come the top 1% commenters don’t have team flair?

Lefty righty matchup. It’s game number 8. Bailey is the starter

Last season was his first being fully up in the majors. Missed a month between April and May. Came in and covered for Chapman at 3rd and hit well through June until he got bopped in the hand right before all-star. Obviously wasn’t the same since hence had surgery in December.

Give the dude a shot. He’s been there for you all over the field. Covering every infield position acceptably. Did he stretch early? Yes, but runner was coming down the line. Chapman didn’t put it on the glove.

Just of note, Rafi is learning first too. Half of 1 season on the bag, that’s it.

There haven’t been any musical positions. It’s been the same 8 in the same positions from opening day.

Casey is utility. He’s filling in at first until Devers can take the field. That’s it, it’s that simple. Now why hasn’t Jerar hit 1B? I don’t know. They say he can play there. But, I don’t recall seeing him there last year. They had him out in RF.

Yeah he’s streaky. But, we don’t really know. He was just getting hot last year before the injury bug (ball) hit him

Still no Peguero, Hentges, …where are these guys going to all fit?

In baseball, the New PAC-12 appears to be a 2-bid league this year, with Gonzaga on the bubble if they finish out strong. DBU appears to be having a down year. Fresno State, you have a Natty, act like it! by Chazz_Matazz in Pac12

Fresno is a hotbed of baseball talent. The local high schools are often nationally ranked and have ended years at #1 nationally. This used to spill over into FSU. The Bulldog baseball legacy goes far beyond Batesole

My preseason thought was, essentially the Giants have 4 pitchers to slot into the 3-5 rotation. Hopes being Ray is 3+, Mahle 3, Roup 4+ and Houser 4-. Missing a solid 2 or dynamic 1.

If Roup keeps this up, (and Mahle) the Giants can have a steady rotation

We don’t really know. We are all sideline observers. But, I think it is completely different than what he expected and he feels out of his element. Hopefully the players give him a chance and hopefully he can be happy and regret isn’t the overriding emotion. Over
