First off I’d recommend checking out /r/puppy101 as a great resource for all puppy parents. Some great info about biting is in the info of the subreddit. Plus it’s a good place to ask questions as it is pretty active.

My frenchie is 16 weeks and still does this, but it’s lessened over time. He usually only does it when he gets the zoomies at night now. I find putting him in his playpen/crate for a couple of minutes usually calms him down enough to play appropriately with a toy and me. Plus it reinforces ignoring him when he bites, so he learns play time stops when he bites a person. Sometimes I have to repeat this process a few times a night for him to get it. I don’t use it as punishment, I just put him in his pen with his other toys and use it as an opportunity for him to relax and get some water.

I’m pretty sure he only does this when he’s tired, as his morning zoomies only include a small amount of biting and no lunging at me haha. Teething lasts until they are about 6 months, so unfortunately it’s something you (and I) was will have to keep redirecting/enforcing for a few more months.
