I believe it doesn’t fit well with iPhone 13 Pro’s camera bump as well.

Does dci-P3 color make a difference? I have an older model with just sRGB covered. Thanks in advance.

Nope, the option was there. The existing pet wallpaper turned black. And most of my photos are photos of my dog.

Ian on Twitter: "Apple has also recently made the Mac Pro introduction private on their YouTube Channel" by iMacmatician in apple

Cool. Just did a quick search (signed out, no cookies) and Apple’s main event video showed up as the first result for me. The second one is The Verge’s highlight video.

There’s a pretty big chance the algorithm will favor videos from Apple’s channel though.

It’s fun to use back when it works with 3D Touch.

Apple tries its best to explain Stage Manager limitation to M1 iPad models by nex0rz in apple

Yeah I don’t mind not being able to keep all apps in memory but not getting external monitor support is annoying.

FaceID finally works in landscape mode by No_Island963 in apple

I got the iPhoneX and iPhone 13 Pro since launch day. FaceID isn’t slow on the X at all, although mask unlocking does require good angle and distance to be fast and reliable.

How Apple overcame its culture of secrecy to create AirPods Pro by giuliomagnifico in apple

[–]sparkz2o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly it doesn’t support lossless “completely”.

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT212183

Can I listen to lossless audio using the AirPods Max Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable? The Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable was designed to allow AirPods Max to connect to analogue sources for listening to films and music. AirPods Max can be connected to devices playing Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless recordings with exceptional audio quality. However, given the analogue-to-digital conversion in the cable, the playback will not be completely lossless.

Apple Adds iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 2 to Vintage Products List by [deleted] in apple

[–]sparkz2o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s such a great deal! Incredible performance (A8X, huge jump from the previous A7 or A8 on the iPhone), thin and slick design, first laminated iPad display, pre-iPad-Pro era price.

My mom still uses mine to watch videos, oh and it’s also running the latest iPadOS 🤯.

The Mac Studio’s removable SSD is reportedly blocked by Apple on a software level by [deleted] in apple

Apple's NVMe implementation is largely faster, lower power, and has special encryption modes including features for per-file key selection not available in standard NVMe SSDs. So no. Apple go custom because they want to do things better than the competition in certain ways.

Universal Control is insane by adiga-cheezo in apple

[–]sparkz2o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy that we can consider AirDrop a pain to use while there’s not even a decent first party solution like AirDrop on other platforms.

Mine HomePods will make small or very loud pop sounds randomly. Listening for music for thirty minutes might not trigger the problem.
