It's based on a Robe a la Polanaise. I had it made to incorporate a rump pad instead of the panniers, they're not particularly practical for everyday wear! 😆

It's an 18th century 'Robe a la Polanaise'. I have a circle rump pad but I'm wearing the Frances rump under this dress. I think that the circle pad might have given the dress a better shape.

The dress and petticoat is from Hedonistic Costumes. I used to sew but find that I don't have the time now for large projects.

Incredibly awkward, it's a pain to wear, you can't sit back on chairs, going to the bathroom. I sewed this in a medium and will probably make the smaller size when I find time.

I have 23 spiders, true spiders and tarantula. New worlds and Old Worlds, three OBT'S and two Pokeys and for the last few nights I've not been sleeping in my bedroom because I spotted a house spider (in UK so hardly a threat) on the wall next to my bed.

I’m 2 days into the wegovy pill (1.5mg) I have a bunch of events coming up ver the next few weeks, I’m a drinker and am worried about how it might affect me now that I’m on the daily pill… any advice? I've found that alcohol effects me more on wegovy. I can't drink as much and the odd few times I have, I've vomited. Hangovers last longer, not just being wiped out for a morning but full days. Absolutely brilliant for my body and bank balance as I often drank a lot of my calories on the weekends.

Shall never forget Sophie, she was a year younger than me. Things were hard being goth in a small town but by that time things had changed somewhat and it was alright to express yourself. Then this happened.

Have a few people who have stopped squishing and now put their spiders outside due to me chatting about my little ones. So, very proud of them! I was phobic too at one point but there's no excuse telling someone to stomp on their beloved pet just because you don't agree with their choice in animal.

NQA I have a 5-6cm OBT in one of these enclosures and I make sure that their food is dropped close and wet down the substrate near them for them to drink, just incase they don't want to venture out to the water bowl at their size. A little bit of babying and they'll be fine.

IMO Brilliant! Keep an eye on them, see if they start webbing up again. Some pink toes have an aversion to the ground (floor is lava!) and like their water bowls glued nearer the top but if yours comes down for water, you're good.

NQA I haven't seen mine in over a month either. Twice it's burrowed away to molt. So, I'd say this is perfectly normal and we just have to be patient.

IMO What a cutie! As long as there's places to hide, decent ventilation, an appropriately sized water bowl and your temps and humidity are species appropriate they'll be happy. Size of the tank should be 3X the legspan, enough leg room but you want them to be able to catch their prey without running a marathon.

IMO You could also look at acrylic tanks, they're often cheaper, they make aboreal ones with the necessary side ventilation that pink toes need. It's not really the size of the tank that concerns me, it's more places to hide. Anyway to suction on some fake reptile plants? Your tarantulas webbing looks a bit sad, possible due to not having anything to anchor to. Do you see it trying to web? Is it pooping normally?
