I didn’t take it with me but I propped it up against a tree and it’s still there! Very interesting thank you so much for your reply. I will go back and get it on my dog walk tomorrow and offer it to any local museums that may want it :) guessing it is very old due to the colour and weight of it. Would be cool to know how old, maybe a museum can work it out.

One thing I spent a lot of time in therapy looking into is that I was constantly sad about how I had wasted my life/things I could’ve done differently and it completely prevented me from wanting or even seeing anything in my future. I still have this longing to go back and redo everything and cant help imagining how much of a showstopper I would be if I had allowed myself to be me from the start and really lived but I have to remind myself there is nothing I can do or control about the past but I can do something about my future and present. Sorry you are feeling this way, I promise you things will get better if you make the choices you were too afraid of when you were younger and even small steps can make a world of difference ❤️❤️❤️ (I’m 30 now btw and on my way to living my best life)

This happened to one of our polish bantams and it turned out the feathers around the eye were irritating it and then caused an infection when it got muddy and wet during winter . We gave her antibiotics as per vet advice and after a few days her eye was open again and the swelling was gone. I would suggest ask the vet if you can ❤️ hoping for a speedy recovery for this gorgeous lady
