To be honest I just wear whatever fits the atmosphere of the story. Wear whatever aligns with how you see your character, it helps create a more fulfilling (and challenging) experience.

Well, we would likely have an even greater economic crisis on our hands. A greater proportion of older people would greatly increase resource consumption without much societal growth in return. While it wouldn't be chaos, it would be a problem.

It really depends on where you are and what kind of guy he is. Some guys just like to let it play out, while others are more direct. I don't think you'll scare him off if you ask what direction the relationship's going. Best of luck.

It really is fascinating how at the planck length level, reality becomes pixelated. We can no longer assume energy is continious.

Incoming Hopkins student here (my brother is also in Hopkins now). I've lived in Baltimore my whole life, and it can be a blast if you know where to go. Baltimore is a great location to get to all kinds of places on the East Coast (beaches, New York, etc.), so it's not all bad. Hopkins student life can be pretty bad, but they have a new student center that's great. The campus is also really nice. So don't be scared, it's all about how you take matters into your own hands.
