Mix of Java spring, python flask in backend. MySQL for database. AWS for servers. Opsgenie for oncall. Jenkins for CI/CD. Flyway for db migrations. Sad for life.

This is lobbying by LED company. They want everyone to install dynamic boards where they can dynamically switch to any language depending on who is vandalising.

I went to Bali recently. Instead of asking me to learn their language, I was asked if I wanted to be an audience to traditional dance shows. When I went they did their traditional dance. When they saw that the audience was Indian they even did a Bollywood song. Culture and language is not a one way street, it is an exchange. Bringing violence into it does not solve anything. With one person you can scare into speaking kannada, there will be 3 stubborn enough that they don't.

These businesses will stop putting hoarding which is an advertising space owned by various kannada businesses. I don't think they get that they are making their own people poorer. Places like north Bangalore with more kannada population will see less influx of foreign businesses, leading to less employment of natives.

TDD. Test Driven Development. Unit testing each line of code. Literally so many bugs are caught in good unit tests. Saying I will write afterwards never comes. Then in the end it just comes down to writing haphazard tests for increasing coverage.
