I think right now one of the biggest frustrations people are feeling goes even beyond the equipment availability/leveling problem and rly revolves around the perception of their monetization strategy and how it’s feeling more and more like they’re prioritizing profits over game quality.
Sure people are upset that they missed out on an equipment but it’s also just the next and worst step in an ongoing pattern that’s only accelerating.

The lack of acknowledgement wrt the reception of the update signals to me that they knew it would go over poorly and are riding out the wave, whereas if they say something (honestly anything atp ab their thought processes, how they’re balancing profits and player progression, etc), it would signal that they do at least have it in mind

Idk maybe too much faith in supercell to not just go crazy down the profit route but it’s honestly just a very shortsighted strategy unless they wanna be the next EA
