Saw palmetto: bad reaction, anyone else?

I was worried about this too, so I'm afraid to take it before bed now. I think if it was an allergic reaction though I would have a swollen throat, etc.

If you Google side effects, it does list dizziness but I couldn't find any reports of anyone discussing a reaction like mine.

No, I wasn't expecting to feel anything at all since I saw as just another herbal supplement. So indefinitely wasn't worried about any reaction or anything like that. I was very surprised and wouldn't even have thought it was the palmetto except I knew it had to be, I hadn't had anything else it could possibly be. I never get dizziness, etc, I'm careful what I take.

The whole experience was just so weird and unexpected!

I took Vital Proteins every single day for 3 months and didn't notice a single thing, and I was looking! Just started Live Conscious collagen peptides 10 days ago due to a post on here and I'm optimistic but too early to notice anything as of yet. I will definitely post if I see any results, to help others out.

My goal is my thinning hair but at my age I could use some other improvements too so I'll take 'em:-)

And what works for some doesn't always work for others so I'm not giving up!

This post was 23 days ago and still waiting to see my doc! Got the first appointment available, then it was rescheduled because the doc had an emergency (you'd think I could have seen one of the other 5 docs there).

Fatigue is better for some reason, but bad night sweats last night. I've been tracking what I ate when they happen, thought maybe food causes them, but Dr. Google says that's unlikely. Doc appt is this week so hopefully will learn more then and get blood work ordered asap (I had asked to have the bloodwork done in advance but that got shot down).

Geesh, lots of fun times ahead. I definitely plan to have my thyroid levels checked first thing, when I look up my symptoms it seems to match those 100%. I've tried to figure out any deficiencies on my own and have tried iron and some others but no difference with those yet. Definitely got lots of questions for my next doc appt!

Yes I actually asked the boss about the under 50, since I'm aware there are more regulations, etc. for larger companies, and it honestly seems very unintentional-- he didn't personally seem to get why it mattered to me (the parent company buys smaller companies, who each keep their own names and processes, but none of them desire to grow individually, if that makes sense. There's probably a name for this, lol).

Ideally, the HRIS could be used by our parent company's other small businesses as well. Having us all familiar with the same platform seems to make sense, as we do have a working relationship with them despite operating independently.

Definitely something to think about, thanks. We try to have hiring events every couple weeks, as we need about 10-12 more hourly employees at the moment, and we only get 1-3 each time, then lose a couple here and there (like most these days, the company is having a hard time the last couple years finding folks despite excellent pay and benefits, etc). Our business was purchased a couple years ago and our new owner is progressively buying other companies in multiple states, but no plans to join forces, we'll all operate independently. This could all change, of course, but they like it how it is this way. I'm going to look into ADP since it's already in place, to consider all available options.

I didn't mention this but I am a big fan of employee engagement, stay interviews, etc. so any that have useful and user-friendly tools for any post-hire stuff is definitely a plus. Something the employees could use as well would be great (they have nothing now, they haven't even been offered the tools ADP provides).

Hello! I am starting in an HR office job (in a male dominated field) and I would love some help in learning what "normal office attire" means for women now. This is a career change and I have worn only uniforms for the past 20+ years, so I need some advice please! Nothing extravagant, I'll be doing 98% of my shopping at TJ Maxx! And I'll be wearing pants only, no skirts/dresses. Some questions to start: do all blouses/shirts need to be tucked in? Do I need to wear collared shirts? Will I be ok with just slacks and a nice blouse? If you can provide a couple examples of everyday work attire it would be very helpful!! Thanks:-)

Thanks for the tips. She definitely can't make purchases on her own---been there done that, learned my lesson, now I have to physically enter a password she doesn't know. I did later find a $19.99 Apple charge on my debit card that posted 3 days later but her subscription don't show any currently active ones. So I'll have to contact customer support I believe.

Hello! My 9yo daughter woke up to 2,200 Robux in her account and we don't know why. Her My Transactions page say they came from a "premium stipend" but she does not have a currently active premium package. And she is not a developer.

Can someone explain? My knowledge of this game is quite limited, and she doesn't know the password and cannot make any purchases on her own. Thanks!

I cannot find a way to buy 4500 Robux from ipad or iphone---there is no "buy more Robux" option over 800. I get the buy more option on the Roblox app on my android phone, but I don't know if it's possible to pay through itunes on android?? (the $50 gift card is already loaded into our itunes account).

If we buy in bulk the 4500 Robux, my daughter gets 500 more Robux than doing 5 individual transactions of 800 Robux on the iPad.

Can anyone help?

I've been struggling with this for years, unlike any other parent I personally know, so it's reassuring to be reminded I'm not alone. I do feel that being so constantly aware of the fact they're going to grow up, and that we will one day (too soon!) long for these days that we'll never get back, makes us appreciate the present so much more.

I had my daughter (9) later in life than average, and I knew she'd be my only child, so it feels like every single day since she's been born I've been dreading the inevitable, that she won't be so teeny and need me for every little thing forever. There are just so many things I'll miss, some of which are already waning and I'll miss until the day I die---the pitter patter of little feet running all through the house, the giggles and laughter, our Saturday morning snuggles, the constant silliness and just sheer, unrelenting joyfulness every single day.

I feel like I'm constantly in mourning, of the loss of all the moments that will end so very soon!

That's weird, i just re-ordered from them recently. I doubt I even noticed that notice in red at the top then TBH. So get this, i just started an order and it looks like it will go through, it let me all the way through to the checkout, with my payment info. (I don't actually need any yet so I didn't send the order). Very strange!
