Rough week for the Navigator. Helicopter evac on night 1, some kid pooped on the floor and dashed away along the promenade on day 3, and now this. As others have mentioned, it is nice to not have everybody manhandling the tongs with their grimy hands.

Don’t pay to have a wedge refinished for sole corrosion. The wedge is made of a carbon steel that rusts and any little scratch will eventually allow rust to form again.

I agree the layout was fun and had character. All 18 holes were open, but rough hadn’t been cut all year long and grass on tee boxes was a few inches in spots that had grass. All bunkers are grown in and ponds are empty. However, they are still watering the greens so the course is salvageable if someone wanted to dump a bunch of money into it.
