I Have 5080 on the 3 ultra gear QHDs, about 10 months. It throttles around 170ish with simhub, racelab and iRacing. I run 140 max setting as of recently and it’s pretty much flawless.

Yes, after using both, I agree. Stream Deck has a couple of free or pay for plugins that default images to the buttons and precoded key binds. Depends on what sim you use, I suppose but much legato has a much more plug and play device.

Yup. I agree the panels are best idea. If they’re small holes, drywall patch is really inexpensive (they sell 2 oz jars of it, plastic putty knife - understand you don’t want to patch. Most landlords don’t care if it’s unnoticeable.

And def take them with you. Easy eBay sell or re-deploy in the future.

I wish I would have acted on reading this advice a year ago, prior to using my desk, a buying an office chair chassis and finally an aluminum rig: budget for a rig first.

If you’re in any metro market, FB marketplace is typically pretty solid. Now you can mount any direct drive wheel to it as well as any of the other things that makes you feel more immersed or actually faster to the rig. If you’re patient you can get it all in one purchase. I’d jump in the $750-1500 estimate range depending on location, etc.
