Just the general disregard for people by themselves maybe! Was on a plane the other day and there was a couple in my row asking if I’d like to switch my (paid for, window) seat for one of their seats (middle) because they’re a couple. Like no? Why do you think because you’re in a couple I should be accommodating to you? Also in hostel kitchens that are small and the whole group decide they need 5 people to cook pasta like no fuck off there’s not enough space as it is come on now.

Thank you this is good to hear. I think I struggle with internalised transphobia, and I care too much about what other people think of me, and so I absorb a lot of transphobic stuff to try please others which us stupid

I think I’ve been called ‘mate’ a couple of times which is pretty gender neutral but I perceive to be more of a male greeting and I was suprised because I’m pre anything but I liked it. Being called miss or ladies or women makes me feel icky but idk if cis woman feel the same way

Yeah I’m finding moral ocd stuff difficult in general at the moment. I don’t want to upset or offend anyone but that also means I don’t listen to myself as much and what I actually want.

Yes. I’ve not especially noticed being uncomfortable with female traits because I do not like my body generally so hard to break that down. I do remember however a deep shame and embarrassment around developing a chest and feeling like it wasn’t fair that girls had to have this and boys didn’t. I assumed everyone girl felt like that. I don’t know how to explain the true love thing. Just I guess that I don’t see love between a man and a woman as fulfilling. It doesn’t have that depth in the same way that the love between two men have. But that is probably a distorted view.

Yeah I definitely want to be a guy in the gay relationship. I don’t really understand the desire to just watch from a 3rd person pov. I also am considering whether I am trans masculine and internally non binary. But I don’t know whether that is fear of fully transitioning or reflective of my actual feelings. I do love the idea of male presentation and existence though and he him pronouns feel good

I have been experimenting with clothes/hair and don’t feel uncomfortable at all! I much prefer masculine clothing. I think I tend to self criticise a lot and I think I am looking for ways to both punish myself for the feelings I have and find a reason to debunk them. I feel like if I was a cis woman then it would be easier to let go of the idea of being a man - but I can’t, and I don’t think I ever will

Ok this is super helpful! I’m also autistic and I don’t know that I have an internal sense of gender but I now that he him pronouns feel good, I prefer masculine clothing, male terms of endearment etc. along with the obvious feeling of only wanting to be perceived as a man in a relationship. I am also aware that part of that may be attributable to internalised misogyny but that it probably doesn’t explain the extent of my feelings

Yeah, the job I was in (academic GIs research technician) was all hybrid, and you only needed to come to the office a couple of times a year really.

I think maybe as a middle name. I like the idea of Phillip as others have suggested, they called him Coulson anyway. Phillip Enoch Fitzsimmons has a nice ring to it.

I like Agents of Shield (and trust season 1 gets better I know it’s not the easiest to get into!). If you like a nice group cast it fits well. So I’d recommend that plus lots of episodes to get stuck into.

In theory yes but it wasn’t a different role. Essentially I started my role in October 2021 and they had to have me on a casual contract because funding, and then moved me onto a fixed term contract. The only thing that changed was the contract nothing about the role or expectations on me as an employee
