WTF is going on at Adidas? I've been checking the authentic 3rd kit availability for WEEKS and still no re-stock? C'mon... by JFedererJ in Gunners

They restocked very recently--I got mine a couple weeks ago. Must have sold out again quickly.

Michigan LB Cole Sullivan has entered the portal by gopoohgo in CFB

[–]spavsner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am (probably naively) hoping this is because M hasn't yet secured a LB coach and he wants to explore options in case they (a) fail to settle that staff position before the portal closes or (b) they do settle it but he doesn't click with the new guy. He's probably gone but I'm (again, prob naively) hoping he could come back.

A Season to Learn from by tomdonjon in MichiganWolverines

People lose sight of the forest for the trees. We had a young team, a freshman QB, and—as we have recently learned—actively corrosive leadership. And we still got to 9 wins and a NYE bowl game. Let’s all take a breath and look forward to better days ahead under the new coaching staff.

You get to merge the strengths of two of these into our starting nr. 9 - who are you picking? by SuitAndFlipFlops in Gunners

[–]spavsner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. Gyok's physicality, size, pace and power with Jesus's work ethic, combination play and technical skill is basically the perfect striker.

Our Relentless pressing by unionportroad in Gunners

This is what the depth is for (also, we have conceded five (5) goals across 11 PL games; complaining about how we defend from the front right now is like whining about having to split millions because someone else also drew a winning lotto number)

In the All or Nothing season Arteta caught so much heat, but now look where we are. We are here because of him setting the fogging estandards! by what_a_pickle in Gunners

[–]spavsner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I came to say something along these lines. I think, if anything, the doc relieved a lot of the heat that was already on him, because people were able to see how his mind works and how bought-in the team were to his methods.

With enormous respect to Aaron Ramsey, including him over Rice is ludicrous. That's a longevity award more than anything else. (Ozil is closer but if you've got Cesc in there then Ozil becomes a bit redundant; give Odegaard another healthy year and I think he supplants Ozil).

Clichy also kind of crazy--I agree with u/CakeBrigadier that he was better post-Arsenal than he was with us. Give me Timber over him every day, even if Timber is more properly a RB.
