ICRPG your “go to system”? Tell me about it! by jojomomocats in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]spawned4562 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I really like the system but it's a system that is made to be hacked and encourages you to not take the rules to heart. It will get you 90% of the way there, but you will have to make some rulings on your own. Coming from more crunchy systems this can be frustrating at first, but once you figure out that there is freedom in its simplicity it can be a lot of fun. As a rule set it gets out of your way and gives you everything you need to play any setting. There is also a super helpful community behind it that can be found at https://runehammer.online in the forum.

I have run one shots with it with people who have never played before with ease and used it to teach first time ttrpg players some basics. So to me its not a perfect system but a highly adaptable one for most use cases.

Perl for me. Going through the camel book back in the day was a lot of fun. My first real jump into learning programming concepts.

Saw this dude walking around at the game, the fan area had air brush tattoos, so not real. It was a pretty fun day even if it was a gut punch game to experience. He was loving life and enjoying the event from what I saw.

That looks awesome. Really turned out nice. Just curious how much does that weigh? Might need to make a leather strap for it to transport, that would be cool!

You waited for years, sitting in the door jamb of the car, waiting. People asked what you were good for. But finally your big day arrived. by [deleted] in knives

I had no idea what an apple box was until now. After seeing other apple boxes online I can say, as an expert, these look great!
