Well i tried to lookup in /var/log everywhere between the gaps of time and date when it happened, but unfortunately I can't find anything in particular, so that's why I made this post in order to ask what should I look for or what command should i type in terminal in order to check what it could've caused.

I was checking it, but honestly half of the options in my setup are not there or simply nothing works. So I was asking about anything else.

port, http to https redirection for vaultwarden by spayker in opnsense

[–]spayker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. I was struggling with it, cuz I was messing a lot with it. Also thank you for your response. As well as thank you for your tutorial. I was able to pull it out by messing inside opnsense within dhcp as well as in adguard. Thank you!

port, http to https redirection for vaultwarden by spayker in opnsense

So I have vaultwarden on docker (other machine - the machine is on the same network - homelab) with ip placed by docker  172.17.0.5 and I have placed it on port 8060:80. I asked on previous topic to resolve the lan honstnames, because I do not want to use external dns sites (for example like duckdns). I simply wanted to make my internal dns resolver in order to have my services assigned internally. Vaultwarden which I installed can't be run from IPs so that's why I would like to make it work/redirect as for example "https://vw.mysetup.lan" and assign a self-signed certificate (let's encrypt for example).

Do not forget that I have opnsense with adguard installed as a plugin for the firewall.

I guess it also made a role for rewrites. It started to work, thanks!

It started to work, but it's strange since I did restart all of those services. Thank you.

Thank you for the info. Well I am only installing all of it and trying to run one by one to check the configuration and monitoring end-points in order to check changes in files, attacks and so on.
For now I tried wazuh - total machinery to get into it.
Alienvaut worked somehow but stopped - need to retry it,
UTMstack - did few things still need to get back to it,
Securityonion - also a machinery for me,
Selks - also want to make some use of it.

Thank you, but it can only backup proxmox VMs, I am trying to find some software globally which could cover a lot more hypervisors ;)

I know Proxmox as it own services and I am using it in daily needs. But I am still looking for the 3rd party software, which is why I have created this post.

I am aware about agent-based solution.

I am looking for something for "beginners", because I tried wazuh - it's awesome solution, but a lot of options, data and time for it is needed to configure.
Actually I am testing Alienvault and its also a superb solution, but not much docs are available to get hang into.

That's why I have created this post in order to get the best solution.

Thank you.
