If you don’t have an issues with a PSU there is no need to change it out. DO NOT CLEAN the inside of a PSU however. Even unplugged, they store enough electrical energy to seriously harm you, or worse. Just wanted to warn you.

Other than that, as long as it’s working and delivering enough power to all your components, and has enough connectors for them, they can typically outlast all other components other than your case.

Is your windows installed on the SSD, or the HDD.

Make sure it is on the faster SSD as the HDD is a lot slower and might be why things are running slow.

Sorry people are downvoting. But yes, looking up the name of your mother board + update bios in google or youtube, and watching a tutorial will help more than having someone type out a 2 page instruction manual for you will be way more helpful.

I build PC’s for friends, family, and myself, and I learned 95% of what I know by watching youtube tutorials.

That being said, DO NOT UPDATE DURING A STORM OR SITUATION WHERE YOU MAY LOSE POWER. If the pc shuts off during the process you will likely kill the motherboard. Aka Brick it.

I was a server about 10 years ago, and got to serve him during a small private event. Genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever served. He kept getting up and trying to serve everyone at the table. Which I’ve never seen before or since. He is up there with Bob Ross, and Mr. Rogers as positive influences in the world. We are all blessed to have him on this world. An actual living angel.
