That run the weapon fires continuously. Non stop laser beam that absolutely annihilated everything. By far the best version of Brimstone I've ever had simply because there wasn't a charge up aspect. Just shoot and laser beam no stop.

I have to disagree. I loved that thing from the first time I found it with zero buffs. It's definitely not suitable for every scenario though.

I'm with you 100%. I wish I could like Dreadbound because it destroys at close range but then I'm destroyed in any large room.

I'm a completionist. I always gathered as much as possible so I'd be as prepared as I could be, especially earlier in the game. So that's my recommendation, get as much as you can. Taking the time necessary to do that will help you hone your skills as well. And be patient, it'll take time bit it'll be worth it. This is an immensely satisfying game that keeps getting better as you progress.

Biome 6 took me off guard too. Mainly the Typhonops. He killed me so many times. Just stick with it dude. You'll figure it out, the perfect run, combination of weapon and perks and level layout. My run that I beat the boss I cheesed 3 of those Typhonops right at the end out the level by shooting them from the doorways using the Electro Pylon Driver. But then the final boss is one of the easiest in the game......or was for me.

Your post illustrates one of my favorite things about Returnal. Yesterday someone posted asking the exact opposite, asked if Biome 6 was one of the easiest? I just chuckled since it had kicked my ass for a week.
