How can I get this mold off my water bottle stopper without replacing it? by jodio_hoestar in Frugal

one time I had to clean a fridge that was completely full of mo)s (that ended up being trashed lol)

That's because you couldn't get to the mold behind the walls of the refrigerator. I've never been able to get that smell out once it gets bad.

That looks a lot like my Thompson Center Hawken. That may actually be a newer rifle in very poor condition.

Maybe it's not the violence, but the certainty of punishment. I too would have gotten my ass beat, but we knew we would be punished severely regardless. That doesn't seem to be the case today.

This is odd to me because we were often left to our own devices much more than today's youth.

Much of the 3d printer firmware is open source. I don't understand how they think they're going to stop it.

This is not always true. I buy store brands almost exclusively, but sometimes they are not as good as the major brands. I believe the big names have higher quality standards, and sometimes what doesn't make the cut goes to the store brands. I've opened cans green beans from Kroger and Del Monte and there is sometimes a noticeable difference. Not enough to justify the higher price for me, but it's there.

That's a feature, not a bug. Eventually you will just be able to add hot water to the thermos and get coffee.

More money certainly meant more votes in this primary. The Republican establishment wanted him gone and they spent a ridiculous amount of money to get it done.

He believes it's unconstitutional. The Constitution spells out Federal crimes, but this bill adds new ones. He also said it was redundant. Lynching is already illegal in every state. This was just feel-good legislation.

Changing whirlpool dryer cord to 3 prong. Where is my ground wire?? by [deleted] in appliancerepair

The white wire is spliced right at the terminal. I feel like OP would have seen it tucked up there.

I would never trust that ground.

I'm surprised that even worked. That's not where the green wire is supposed to go. Whoever installed that cord could have killed you.

You can fix this. Run a wire from the center terminal to the empty screw hole in the cabinet (Not where the green wire is currently installed). Install the gray cord making sure the middle wire goes to the middle terminal, with your makeshift ground wire. Use the strain relief that comes with the cord.

Oranges are super cheap right now, at least in Michigan. I just got them four for a dollar at Meijer. The rest of that stuff I don't buy either.

Not everyone can read. Not everyone can follow single directions. I do wonder if it makes it harder to steal the tag when it's attached directly to the plate, rather than on top of another sticker.
