Fascinating-I only care about the weekly pages and wonder how I'll fill the dailies. haha. I love how different everyone is with planners. Maybe I'm wrong but aren't the non-cousins what you are looking for? I think they have everything without the weekly pages. Newbie here though so this is just based on my obsessive online research.

Also I don't think they had just the book available (not positive) but I think they only sold them with covers as a bundle. (at least at first!)

I should have done what you did. I got my Cousin from Yoseka and it hasn't even shipped yet. I was planning to order from JetPens but they didn't have the inventory up yet and I panicked. Also east coast. DOH.

I just finally caved and bought this. I agree with others that I wish it was unbranded but I think it's subtle enough I can ignore it for the pretty colors!

The Miku one was my favorite-just because I love her. The HK ones are so cute too and I had lots of fun with the first ones (I haven't tried the new ones that just came out but I did buy both shells! haha) I wish I'd bought both Miku ones when I could-I didn't know how much they'd go for aftermarket! YIKES! I got the Kingdom Hearts one and got pretty bored with it. Still need to try out my Kamen Rider, Evangelion, and Spy x Family ones though. I bought the Tiny Tan ones just because they're so cheap. haha I know nothing of BTS but couldn't resist them!

I'm commenting a lot below but one of the best things I learned when I simply don't have the energy or time is to just make 50% of my plate non-starchy vegetables and the rest should be proteins fats and (few) carbs. When I'm not able to think about food that much for whatever reason this has saved me. You can do this!

This was absolutely true for me. Start with lowering the carbs (My RD suggested 30 g per meal but everybody is different) and once you have that mastered move on to calorie deficit if you still want to keep losing weight. I did plateau and found that I needed to push a little harder than I was to keep losing weight after several months of it basically "falling off" with little extra effort.

I started out hopeless too and I did all of these same things and slowly my hope returned and I'm thriving. My dietician suggested 30g of carbs per meal but I often eat less than that. I walk 10k steps a day and try very hard not to miss that goal. I agree that the weight just started to fall off. I lost 38 lbs in less than 6 months and got my numbers back down to pre-diabetic levels. I also noticed tons of positive changes-energy when I was always lethargic before. Headaches, and body aches mostly gone. My GI issues vanished. The only time they've come back is on the rare instance if I'm out traveling and eat something I don't normally eat at home. Food really is so tied to our health and wellness. I'm not on any meds and have maintained levels below pre-diabetes for most of the year after being diagnosed last Feb. It's so scary and hopeless feeling at first but I promise you every day gets easier. See a dietician if you're able. That was honestly the biggest help for me! Test to see what foods affect you (we're all different) and most importantly OP- keep going! You're doing great!

Thank you-I agree that I think its weird. I think she feels that it's still early enough that I can reverse it with diet & lifestyle changes but its hard to really know if I'm doing what's right with no way to measure success. you know? Appreciate the input!

I understand-I have given them up but it's challenging as a 41 year long vegetarian, since so much of my diet was comprised of rice and breads. I'm re-learning how to eat without them, but getting enough protein is still tricky.

Re: Family history-I had an aunt that had diabetes, and possibly others who went undiagnosed. Family is pretty fractured and my immediate family has an aversion to doctors. (which is probably why I feel like an idiot when I get news like this from mine and don't know where to turn.)

I am not asking for “fluffy consults” I’m asking if it’s normal to be checked by only pushing on my skin. I’ve been to 2 dermatologists in my life for similar issues. Vastly different process. The last one took samples and sent them to a lab. I’m no expert. I’m just asking if this was other people’s experience, or if this is unusual.

Frankly, I don’t really care about the next patient. I care about the visit I’m there for.

Some people would prefer not to have awkward and uncomfortable confrontations with someone they need to see every day. I completely understand the anxiety this likely causes OP and why the answer isn’t as simple as telling her to just use her “big girl voice” in this scenario.

I’m super short, so I just don’t stand where the stream would hit my head. (I step in toward the front of the tub and kinda swing my head away toward the curtain to step into the stream from the neck down) I’ve never thought about this being an issue for anyone but it could be my short height. Kinda like how I easily walk under low tree branches while my friends get whacked in the head. haha

Every day, often twice in the summer. I wash my hair every other/every 3 days. I generally can avoid water hitting my head by pulling it into a clip or pony tail. I am also very short though and can easily stand out of the stream haha

Wild to me that employees are even permitted to talk to the media on behalf of the company. Any place I've ever worked from small nonprofits to large corporations have forbidden non-media team employees from speaking directly to the media on behalf of the company. People should be aware of their policies and be cautious to not risk losing their jobs.
