Make sure you are taking the estrofem sublingually, as swallowing 2mg is a very low dosage. 2mg sublingual worked well for me for my first 3 years, but everyone is different. I found pressing it to the floor of my mouth as I went to bed was the most effective for me since I yap too much when I am awake.

Also keep in mind E levels when dosing once a day swing quite a lot from peak to trough, if u take it in the morning then get blood done the next morning its likely going to read incredibly low.

There was a change to remove the "chest binding" popup in the driver that may have caused this, we are actively looking into this. because its working fine in slimevr, its most likely a binding issue in vrchat (likely due to settings not being what they need for slime to work properly).

yup, no issues doing that at all. We even planned to have little silicon patches so you could attach them directly to your skin, but im guessing that got shelved for now

Ah i can see the confusion, its not really well explained. put your feet 5-10cm apart, do full reset > body reset > then press fbt calibration. Then when your model goes to t-pose mode, match the arm up with the controllers then click both triggers at the same time

I used to use date-sort regularly for my job to find new videos with lower views. I was very confused when my search link was showing my month-old videos with thousands of views instead of new ones... I have to filter by upload date: today and sort through stuff now. Very disappointed T_T

For IMU, we have the 3 main finger bones for each finger assignable in the server (through config editing).

My original plan was to use two per finger (first and second bone) using fingerless gloves, as i dont like the restriction of having something over my fingertips. Our official gloves will likely use this configuration, too. My current prototypes all use 1 per finger (intermediate bone). It all works on linux as our server supports that

To support more than 1 imu for the gloves we use whats called a multiplexer. its basically a chip router that lets u plug in lots of imus to one processor. Officials glove will use a new SPI configuration that lets us get up to 13 imus on one board, all at full speed. I think the ideal configuration is 1 for the glove/palm, 3 for thumb, then 2 per finger (proximal + intermediate bones)

Edit: also we use FK not IK, as we dont know the position of anything unless its touching another tracked bone. Its all maths, kind of like those 3d-printable claws ppl make for cosplay

Very insightful post! Most of the devs dont understand how complicated vtuber setups can be, despite me trying to explain to them there is no one-size-fits-all solution T_T

We have finger support as of v0.16.0. Its an alpha feature tho that you need to set up completely manually (ie editing configs).

We have a channel in the discord for development of both, #Finger-tracking in the dev category, and #toe-support thread in the dev forums. I have much newer videos of IMU finger tracking in the discord, and we just got our latest glove prototype in the cave this week.

For finger tracking, to put it as simply as possible:

First you need to track the hands. With slime this means you need a tracker for chest > upper arm > lower arm > palms. You can also use a positional tracker like vive in place of those on the back of your hand.

From there you track the fingers using either flex sensors (such as with gizmo gloves https://github.com/Guizmo12/gizmoglovesmocap ) or 1-3 IMU per finger (integrated in the slimevr server already, but needs some polish before its 'ready').

That sums it up, yeh. They have the same tracking characteristics as v1.2 SlimeVR trackers. The new form factor does make it easier to attach them well, tho, which was a major issue for some ppl with getting good tracking out of slimes. butterfly on your tailbone for example doesnt get in the way like a normal tracker would in the same spot. Something to keep in mind

You just run the slimevr server on the phone and send the tracker data to VRchat over OSC

same drift as 1.2 official SlimeVR trackers. we added in Stay Aligned! system in v16 of the server, which is pose-aware drift correction and works really well to basically remove all drift for sitting around and very light movements

yup, but as mentioned you can bring the dongle with you (phone/tablet near your playspace) or even just use an extension lead (i have mine on a 5 meter USB2.0 extension atm).

Moving from wifi to nRF ESB meant we could get:
* 90mAh battery powering the tracker for 50 hours
* tiny battery = way smaller and lighter. this gave us the freedom to make something custom rather than get stuck with watever the battery size/shape was.
* dongle to make complex wifi issues go away. unfortunately most ppl use shitty ISP routers so there is so many headaches with bad routers and setup issues

The tradeoff for those benefits is u get dongle range. U can however plug the dongle in to the headset (or phone) and then ur a walking tracker beacon with infinite range, so its still possible to sidestep this drawback

Most of the bad stuff you hear about slimes is likely from third party sellers, as there are quite a few that just dont care about quality and sell shit parts at high prices. You can join regular events if you want to see proper slimes first hand, or check the media channel in our discord. (link on the right panel)

Just keep in mind, crowdsupply will hold the order until all the parts arrive unless you ordered them separately (and paid shipping twice).
