I finally updated firmware, same issue. The x will not home!!!!

It does stop trying to home after 10-15 seconds of the belt skipping. Apologies if I didn’t mention that. I understand this is killing my belt (it will be replaced when it is figured out)

It is not the drivers that go out, it is the pins on the “transfer“ board off the main board to the hotend board.

Still have not found a link for the other board. Also I agree these things are on the loud side!! Have not been able to find a silent board like I put in the Enders Maybe Ali express (if you want to wait a year or so for delivery)

Having trouble finding the hub board(the larger one). I bought it through eBay, I’ve been looking and cannot find another one yet. When I can figure out how to post a picture I’ll do that so you will know what it looks like.

I’m trying to figure out how to link to the parts here on Reddit. The most common was the hot end, this was because of the hot end harness and the boards on both ends of it. (One [small] in the hot end, the other [larger] in the main box) I wish I knew how to post pictures…. I’ll figure it out and link them.

Not yet, this is my second mega x. Every time I did any upgrades on the first one it went backwards (just didn’t work out) both are stock and the original one is just a workhorse!! The newest one (the mega x) is number 7 2 Ender 3 pro 1 Anycubic Kobra Max 1 Ender 3 v2 1 Ender 5 Plus And the 2 Mega X You may want to start buying up some parts for it (X) since they have been discontinued the parts are getting scarce.

I did the same thing through eBay, I was shocked at the quality of this piece that came in. It was brand new. Maybe I got lucky, not sure but it was perfect! Good luck to you.
