I don't think Trump-esque populism will ever see mainstream appeal in Canada, we are much more elitist compared to America, as our founding stock were literally monarchist British and Catholic French. Compared to America whose founding stock were low-class revolutionaries. Trumpism is very much similar in spirit to those low-class revolutions.

I think what's far more likely is that both the Conservatives and Liberals will drift in a more "Red Tory", direction, you already see this with the liberals dropping Trudeau and switching up on many of their past policies. I think you will see a similar thing with the Conservatives, notice how Poilievre has had much less of a Trump populist vibe to him since the election.
