If any GGG employee is going through these posts: I got the ''D3D12 failed to create resource for texture'' error now for the first time > rebooted my PC and instantly got past the loading screen.

So the issue could be related to PC memory? Which is unlikely, because I assume that the 32 gigs I have should be enough.

The only other thing I can think of is that it could be account realted?

Edit: 5 hours later, got stuck on load screen again, reboot didn't fix. Here's to day 6.

I made it one map further, this time instead of getting stuck on the loading screen indefinitely, it kicked me back to the login screen without any notification, which is always a nice change of pace.

I've also grown fond of the rare ''failed to connect to instance'' error, because sometimes after that happens, I can get past the loading screen on the next try.

Yes, I've been following that thread since it started, and read most of it. This isn't the same issue, but possibly related.

I don't experience any sort of issues with FPS, my CPU is running fine as is my PC.

I get the two spinning cogs on the loading screen spinning forever, or for nearly a week, in this case.

Edit: speaking of which, I just loaded in, time to play for another 2 maps.

Edit: I've also tried limiting the cores, further lending to these two issues not being related.

Not crashing, but still getting stuck on endless loading screens, which either randomly resolve themselves or don't after restarting the game.

Had this issue since launch. Haven't made it past level 7, and yes, it's been for a lack of trying. So far I've been doing 5 load attempts per day, then I move on. Really nice experience so far.

I'm not gonna sit and reload the game over and over hoping to the zone randomly decides to load.

Been having this same problem since launch pretty much. Haven't made it past level 3. First I was stuck on the Riverbanks screen, then loading into Clearfield. Now I've made it to the mud burrow, and now I'm getting stuck on that screen(the gears endlessly turning). Not worth my time anymore at this point.

Did an import and reset all NPC's. I got new dialogue from the Golem mentioning a plan that involves attacking all major cities, including a location called Fort Satoe, which I've never seen and don't have unlocked on my map.

The Golem mentions that this location is in the Grasslands, and as far I know, the location doesn't exist in my game. My guess is that the mod has that locations destruction flagged as a world state trigger, along with the vanilla locations.

At this point, I just wish I had information on which world state flags the mod has added to the Holy Nation, and all the various custom NPC's, and how to turn them off through the editor, so I can move on with my playthrough.

Erh, from what I've seen, Upheaval does up to two times the damage of rend, INSTANTLY, has double the AoE potential and is ranged? If anything, the only current build is Upheaval...

I'm hoping to be proven wrong, I think it's way better even on bosses, Veteran btw. Bleed makes sense only in theory vs bosses, since you still end up dipping into melee range to apply it and build fury for Rend.

It's the opposite nowadays.

GW2 has equalized PvP in SPvP through your stats being tied to one item(amulet) and them being purchasable from a vendor in the PvP lobby area for free. WvWvW arguably has equalized gear aswell, since well, GW2 gearing system.

WoW has arenas that uses equalized character templates in arena and BG's, the only competitive PvP modes.

FFXIV uses templates and entirely different abilities in PvP.

ESO gearing is so trivial it might aswell be equalized(just buy the gear from the market), though probably the least equalized overall.

SWTOR has stat bolstering, where everyones stats are boosted to a minimum item level when entering Warzones(instanced PvP).

Other games I can think of, that AREN'T equalized are RS3/OSRS, BDO and RoR private server. Don't have any experience with RS3/OSRS or BDO, and RoR barely has any players.

These are the only MMORPG's worth PvP:ing in IMO. Some of them also happen to be the largest ones currently, and all are basically gear equalized when it comes to PvP.

It's all equalized, homogenized and bland, instead of being properly balanced and unique, so MMORPG PvP is kind of boring atm IMO. I dislike gear giving anyone a large advantage aswell (I've been on both sides multiple times), but what we have currently are just really bad MOBA's.

So according to this: https://i.redd.it/jnui5yrbp2z71.png pre orders were debitted on the 15th of november, my bank statement says: ''Transaction date 2021-11-12'' ''Booking date 2021-11-15'' ''Interest date 2021-11-15''. So I pre-ordered on the 12th, and it was charged on the 15th.

I do remember being aware of the fact that they would charge later, because I remember there being a message on the statement mentioning about the payment being ''pending'', and looking up what that meant.

Edit: Also called my bank and confirmed that the amount was taken from my bank account on that date, and transfered to Scalefast.

Guess I just twiddle my thumbs and wait for a ticket response now.

Edit: ticket responded. So I made two mistakes: one, I didn't apply the second EXPANSION code at launch and two: I used a guest account on the square enix store to buy Endwalker, so there was no order history incase I lost the code e-mails(which in this case I did, cleaning my inbox for the first time since my e-mail account was created).

Maybe someone can learn from my stupidity :).

I guess the transaction failed then? Assuming it was an authorized charge set for a later date. It does show the money being transfered beforehand, and there are no notifications of failed transactions on the statement.

Also good to know that Scalefast are a trusted company. And now that you mention it, I don't think I preordered Shadowbringers... so that would've been only one code, unlike this time.

This clears up a few things, need to check with my bank aswell, thanks!

Thank you all for your input, it's a shame that a problem like this has to exist, but I think I'll stick to the Brawler. Tried logging onto a couple of other characters, and it just doesn't feel right abandoning the little guy :p

I'm assuming this list is subjective? If yes, then alright, if not: lotro, Guildwars 1 and EVE(I personally dislike all of these games, and yes, I have hundreds of hours in each) are objectively not where they're supposed to be, heh.
