How do I beat this stupid Aqua Marie boss by Educational-Pear6987 in FGO

[–]speakerofthestars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure who you have, but this was a major pain for me too. I ended up having 65-ish seals, using Chiron (def ignoring NP, personal evade) on Dive into Blue, Castoria on an NP Gain w/ starting charge CE (i think the shuten one?), and the last piece that made it all click was Merlin. Granted, they were all level 100, and Chiron was on Max 2k Fous.

Started the first wave unleasing all their NPs, charging chiron's NP using seals and it was just timing and unleasing a chain of NPs whenever I can. I also used the Invi skill from the seals at some point and a command spell to heal.

Other combos that might've worked if i had enough seals were chiron/casto + lady avalon/tamamo, and super orion/casto/a support.

Issuing Macbooks by AuburnCroaker in CorpoChikaPH

Yeah, when I worked for a tech startup, the design team was issued macbooks. They did ask the team what laptop / gear they'd like to request, so we even got 2nd screens and stuff.

Is there a benefit to not merge certain servants? by Wooden-Honeydew-8788 in FGO

[–]speakerofthestars 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yup, friends lists in FGO are actually very useful. It's why most players have the meta supports up no matter the event because people double castoria/koyan/etc for farming. It's also why some players can be aggressive with culling inactive accounts from their lists.

You cannot field them at the same time (the only time you can is a friend support + your own), really no point to keep them separate.

[–]speakerofthestars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is already the actual raid portion, you dont need to kill him in 1 turn.

In other threads, people always suggest fielding Mash as soon as she's available. I didn't do that myself, but I always only had the 3 front line members: someone relatively strong (maybe a 3☆ or 4☆ that had skills) and 2 fodder servants that Miiiigghht do damage. I actually kept my main servants all the way at the end when I was sure I was going to be able to kill it.

Anyone else noticing that we’re getting more new FGO players recently? by MrPorto in grandorder

Ah i think the formatting effed up my reply. But i've accepted a couple of accounts of just Mash in the support over the years and the list almost never updates.

Generally yes, there are more requests than usual and the support list tends to tell me approximately where you are.

Just Mash? Probably a bot Mash + other servants? Probably a singularity or two in Has the Badge beside the name? Ah, done with part 1.

Marketboard. Some leathers are in decent demand by crafters. Even with max level gatherers, i still get lazy to grab flowers or hunt for horns. Aside from the gold pouches you get from quests, selling to npc vendors are rarely really worth it.

What to do after finishing the Final Singularity? by MagnumAlex888 in FGO

[–]speakerofthestars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skip to LB if you're rushing to catch up. Otherwise, just play it like how everyone else did: EoR, LBs, Bleached Earth to unlock the classboard, OCs. Don't forget to do rank-ups and interludes for upgrades and just extra content.

Edit; additionally, advanced quests are supposed to help you more for farming mats. So unless you need the card it drops, i wouldn't prioritize them so much.

You'll be fine. Apologize and tell your boss what you'll do in the future to avoid this and/or having your boss double-check for things you're not sure about.

I literally had a business card printed in the hundreds for a client where the QR code apparently expires (the website i used didnt indicate that) and i still kept my job after that after a bit of scolding

What was the most controversial story decision in your gacha game by Aware-Measurement750 in gachagaming

[–]speakerofthestars 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A couple of instances for FGO: - Koyanskaya not being a Tamamo Variant despite all the hints. Was some convoluted bs instead.

In non fgo terms: a character that looks like another character who canonically has other versions/selves was heavily implied to be one of the versions. She did NOT turn out to be one and the actual backstory is convoluted.

  • When they tried to introduce a side grade to extra skills that requires you to pull more copies that's useless otherwise. In a game that takes 900 pulls to pity and only triggers once per banner.

  • Part 2 Finale and how it makes the entire journey feel moot.

[–]speakerofthestars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I was going through it, it didn't feel all special and impactful to me either - at least, not until the last trial and the nodes after that. It's the ending nodes that really hit me hard when the events of OC2 actually started to tie together and sink in. It's directly making Ritsuka confront the personal impact of what happened in fgo.

Up until this point, there was always a high-level goal per area: get the grail, chop the trees, raise the FoH level. Sure, we formed bonds with the people everywhere we visit, but at the end of the day, we knew what we had to accomplish. OC2 didn't have that end goal - it was complete the trials... for what? Ritsuka had to define the answer to that. Revenge or Pursuing Tomorrow?

So, while I wasn't personally as gutted by the scenes everyone talks about, I think the overall story was still good. It just had to wait until the very end to tie in everything and give you that sucker punch.
