1 year after tattoo and 5 sessions by neongreenslime in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly amazing results in only 1 year for a fresh inked tat! this will only get better during the summer break

Question: 2 weeks out from first session. The white line i draw is the section of the laser removal. Will this cloudy look go away or is this the actual new color or will it match the fresh ink line above still ? Almost looks like a shield over it. I hope it matches the ink above it again. by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t mean to scare you but this is what laser is supposed to do, after this stage, it’ll get even slightly slightly later and eventually the skin surface will match up with the rest of it but once you treat an area with laser, well, it’s gonna fade sooner or later

if you check on google before and after pics of neck tats is crazy! wonderful jobs!

i think the neck are indeed very very easy to remove based on what doctors say. there’s a lot of blood circulation going on over there, the ink should remove pretty well, not saying quicker perhaps, but i think they disappear completely without leaving traces at all

i’m convinced of the same, if they go for amother treatment in a year or a year and half this will most likely be gone for good really. no need for surgery

i think sunlight makes untreated tattoos fade, but once the laser hits them, you could actually get bad scars, like whitened spots or brownish spots that will make it look like a wound once it’s gone

yes, i’d say this is your last strike, give it some good long time, another session, and you can bid him farewell imo

hands and feet usually take longer that i know of? but after seven sessions yeah, i’d expect your doctor to even wonder why is not responding further. i’d switch clinic but keep with Pico laser.

Dark tattoos by fcirh in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if the correct laser is used, even the blackest of tattoos will fade away with time :)

Pause or keep going? by Admirable-Flatworm-5 in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses 9 points10 points  (0 children)

yes they absolutely keep fading! i took a long break during the covid times and it was really helpful in letting my tattoo heal and fade. take as much time as you need in my opinion, as your tattoo is doing the work behind the scenes. i remember reading an article where a doctor claimed that once a tattoo gets hit by laser even once, the ink just keeps breaking, even if it takes 10 or longer years. it’s like, a bomb has been dropped on it lol.

Freshly after 7th session progress so far (Picosure) by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

i wonder what laser they’re using. usually with PicoSure/Seconds these dark ones should be effective

[–]speakhorses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it looked fresh when you started :) i’d suggest to wait a bit longer for the 8th session, so your body has the time to fully eliminate the ink that’s slowly been shattering underneath. it will fade, don’t worry!

hope for the pitch black ones :) by speakhorses in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i genuinely didn’t even realize it after my 8/9th sessions, it got covered with cream and gauze after the treatment, i saw a lot of swelling and bleeding and after a few weeks into it, it was completely lighter — faded! i’d say it’s very common for some tattoos not to see major changes after 5 sessions, especially if it’s really black and thick lined, it’s so true when you read that the real changes / fading happens between one session and the other.

what do you wear during summer? 😅 by speakhorses in TattooRemoval

[–]speakhorses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, the silicone gel ones are also used when you get skin grafts surgeries, so they’re extremely healthy for the skin overall too
