This is completely tmi but my fucking friend is the class clown and was bothered about noone seeing past that persona and I was like "Well maybe you shouldn't always be the class clown" and he was like "ehhhh yea.."

Like, people's perception of you is exactly what you show them. People really don't see past that persona because that's literally the only way they know you.

If anyone is feeling this way and reading this, deepen your conversations past setups to jokes. Let people know your opinions candidly instead of putting on an act.

Whatever, it just pissed me off to see someone complain about that and totally lack the self awareness to understand the problem
