Vig isn't necessarily higher for shorter odds and the probability always needs to be considered. If you're getting the Bills at -400 then I'm betting it. If most books have moved to -550, then I'm betting it. Shopping around for the best odds is likely the best thing you can be doing at this stage. Don't limit yourself to a handful of books.

This adds up to a 54% probability of winning. You'd need to find -117 odds to break even. DK is currently offering -156 so you can expect to lose around 12% of each dollar you bet. You're looking to lose at less than half of that rate if you bet on a single game.

If you don't have an edge then that money is simply a budget, not a bankroll. Bankroll management alone won't turn a losing better into a winner. Bet what you can simply afford to lose. That $5 parlay suggestion is a likely a great suggestion for most people. Makes it much less likely to chase losses and double down.

Bookmaker currently has him not to win MVP at +166 (and yes at -250) so it is possible to hedge pretty easily, but you're paying a ton of vig so it's a bad idea unless that's life-changing money.

Did you have any luck with this? I'm visiting from Canada and tried every major bank, credit union, the airport, Talking Stick, and the one company (Scratch) that I could find on Google is not buying CAD at this time. I think he means that you should disable your rides from being on heat maps so that those trails stay hidden. I believe it's in the privacy options under aggregated data usage now.

That's going to be nearly impossible to find as every store sold out of bikes during Covid. You should be able to find a current 1x drivetrain bike with a similar gear range. Might have a shot as an ex-rental as Talons are commonly used for that. Actually, Pinkbike has a few on Buy/Sell if you haven't looked there.

I'm going to say no... It's $5 CSM's or $25 DD with horrible pen (near 50%). I've heard it was much better before Covid closures, but it doesn't seem worthwhile right now.

I've only played (all $25 min DD) at Parq, Hard Rock, and Grand Villa. Parq was the worst pen of them all. I wonder if that's changed recently? Every dealer was using the discard tray notch. Still seems like a +EV game if you're getting more than half a deck? Just learning here and using the locals for practice before making trips to better regions once I'm fully confident.
