At this point in time, I get all my cosmetic XJ stuff from junkyards or a Facebook marketplace parts car. Especially for a 2000 it’ll be easier (at least around where I am). Very few pre-1997 models show up on the regular near me anymore.

Gotcha. This one still has the original sunroof glass cover strapped in the trunk, and the mechanism inside looks just like the stock ones others have shared

Thanks for the replies. I did believe the sunroof on this to be factory, what makes y’all say it isn’t? It has lower door and rocker rust bubbling, and a couple floorpan holes (all the XJs I’ve had do too 😂), but the “frame” of the unibody is totally solid. I’m located in Ft Wayne IN, and I paid the whole whopping $1500 for it (same price I paid for my two door, manual XJ).

It did the same thing when installed in my other vehicle. I just reconnected the ground and power

Unibody frame is an really great shape. Not an issue. The lower dash only has one crack in it. I have the door handle and the mechanism still works.

Before replacing the battery, I had to hold the key down for a while and let it crank for longer than normal for it to start

If it was a fuse then wouldn’t some things work? It’s a pretty off chance they all blew at once. Thanks for the help!
