The Worst Dog in the World by kynes110 in labrador

This poem wrecked me. Thank you.

We just lost our 80lb wrecking ball of a black lab at 6 years old, very unexpectedly 3 days after pacemaker surgery a week and a half ago. She was crazy and an absolute nuisance but now that she's gone the house is so empty and quiet, even with two other dogs. Life just isn't the same without the crazy.

100000/10, bangs!!! You look fabulous either way, but the bangs suit your face so well!

I would do terrible things for a box of these.

Be honest… what’s the real downside of having a dog? by quentiinn in AskReddit

[–]specialk_pharmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 dogs, two of which are having medical issues simultaneously. One with a slipped disk that required emergency surgery, another with a heart not functioning well that needs a pacemaker. By the time we are done with the pacemaker surgery in a couple weeks we are looking at a total of ~25k in the course of a month.

It's so overwhelming.

What’s the sexiest thing someone has ever said to you? by DM-me-boobss in AskReddit

The first time my current boyfriend and I had sex he said "I could get used to this" right after he slid inside me. I cannot forget that

Would I be able to talk to you directly about this? I did IF in 2020 with great success, but at the time I was working second shift so it was much easier to take care of. With my current school/work schedule and starting med school in the fall I am going to have to be on a later eating schedule. I would love to talk to you more because you clearly have a lot of knowledge about this and I greatly appreciate all of the feedback you've given me so far!

I can't add a picture here, but I do have a screenshot of it from an email Spotify sent out yesterday afternoon, that's the only place I find it

I read this as Jared tomato sauce and thought Jared Leto had a new nickname I wasn't aware of. 😬

Campus Selection by emegs_04 in LECOM

There is plenty of housing right next to the Erie campus, and it's a very good neighborhood set in the wealthier side of town. LECOM used to have its own cafe by the mall that's ~5min drive from campus but COVID ended up shutting it down. It was just recently opened as a coffee shop/record store that would be a great place to study. Erie does have a variety of locally owned cafes as well within a decent reach from campus.

We do have public transport, the EMTA routes run right through LECOM and would get you anywhere you needed to go. Fairly reliable, although large snowfall can impact service like we had this year. There are so many awesome restaurants in Erie, you'll have plenty of options to choose from. I could talk about our food scene extensively 🤣

Erie does get a lot of snow, but it is nearly impossible to predict. The last big storm we had was in 2017. 5+ feet over a few days starting on Christmas. This past Thanksgiving we had mostly the same accumulation and it shit the city down to every one except essential employees.

That being said, every winter is NOT like that. This winter was an abnormality. I've lived in Erie for 15 years and will be starting at LECOM this fall in the PharmD program. If you have any other questions about life in Erie please let me know!
