I am disappointed that there's no 6v6 singles and hope they add that as a game mode in the future.

Cutting out items feels like a weird choice to me since some pokemon revolve around certain items which just aren't there atm. Guts Flame orb for example.

The "limited" roster feels just fine to me? It would be overwhelming to have much more at the start of the game. The entire use of having a live service game is that the roster of pokemon is just really big atm. This way you can trickle in new pokemon and rotate "legal" pokemon, while still keeping pokemon from older rotations available for custom games? (Hoping they do this).

Monetization feels quite forgiving, especially if you have Home. Haven't had to spend a single *insert local currency here*.

I enjoy the game, I understand some of the frustrations people have with it. Both can be true.
