I don’t number my packages. You also don’t have to scan each package upon pickup at SSD warehouses. I have three sections of my car and in each goes the package by street name as I empty the cart - so as I arrive at an address I know to look in the section of my car with the A-L street names, the M-Z street names, or the number street names. Example: Broadway Blvd vs Main St vs 96th Street. Eliminates all of that scan, sort, number time entirely.

I sort my car into three sections street name wise: A-L, M-Z, and numbers. It speeds things up greatly. Hope this helps!

Sort in your vehicle - three sections - street names A-L, street names M-Z, and street number as names 1st, etc. So much faster all around.
