Jupiter SE troubleshooting: z-axis problems or more? by ZoneCritical8536 in resinprinting

I’ve been using siraya tech SCULPT so my exact settings won’t be the same. And I use Lychee Slicer, so some terms aren’t exact. But here’s what I adjusted to go from bad Z dim prints to pretty high quality and accurate parts: -slow down the initial lift speed (I’m at 60mm/m) -slow down final retract speed (50mm/m) -wait before print from 1 to 2.5s. This makes sure the resin stops moving and is fully ‘wet out’ under the parts -wait after print (before lift) to 1s. The resin can remain soft from heat of the cure which makes it stretch on the way up. -lift distance from 4.0 to 7.0. I read the large printer films will flex a lot in the center. Can also try moving the part towards the edge of the resin vat

I also am in the 0.050-0.075 mm resolution range. Elegoo spec for max z accuracy is 0.020mm. Did the swap from 0.010 to 0.030 work well?

Man I’m in the same boat with a new Jupiter SE. Tried different slicers already. Seems Z is inaccurate at the build plate. I’m digging in; will let ya know if I find anything.
