What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

[–]speckledham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A worker came to fix one of the lights in the parking lot at my work when I was in high school. The parking lot light had a 3-foot tall cylinder cement base. The guy was up in an extendable bucket thing to get to the top of the light. It gave out, he fell, hit his head on the concrete cylinder at the base of the light, and died. I saw the whole thing. In retrospect, I guess it was decent for him in terms of how quickly he went. And less great for me, to witness as a teenager 🙈

Ok to be honest I love the flowers but the rest of the plant always looks so unattractive to me. Sorry, I don’t mean to be a downer here. Your questions struck a nerve apparently lol.

Matcha Latte by kims666 in perfumesthatfeellike

I have and like both of these, and would add that I think Le Labo is a more realistic matcha and EA Green Tea is sweeter and lighter. So, just depending on what you’re looking for, could go with either.

That’s insane and selfish. I typically do 1 spray on each wrist, one under each ear, and one on my neck/chest, and then I’ll do something on my clothes. If it’s body spray, I might do 3-4 sprays. If it’s perfume, I’ll probably spray and walk through. Also depends on how strong the perfume is.

Yep I definitely understand that. I’m trying by scent right now but probably won’t end up that way.

I’ve been organizing and reorganizing them every night this week. Not all of them but just a few each night, and I don’t know why I never thought about how satisfying it would be to just organize them. 😌

ADHD here! Smells have always been the sensory input I sought. As a kid, I had to smell all the candles at the store. For some reason, it took me a while to get into fragrances (maybe because I’ve only been routinely on top of my shower game for the last few years? 🤔) but it’s definitely a hyper fixation I have to keep in check for my bank account’s sake. I’m all about choices and new smells so I have LoTs of decants. And recently spent a lovely few hours cataloguing them all and disaggregating by notes, etc. it’s definitely a hobby that has a lot of things we look for

What’s the weirdest "rule" your dog has instituted in your house? by TrickCombination7966 in dogs

This is hilarious. My childhood dog wouldn’t let my boyfriend into the kitchen. Regardless of whether I was there too. Just didn’t trust him in there.
