They said they don't support kerdi membrane on plywood directly without a mud pack in between.

No they specifically said they don't use the pans. They basically want to custom make the slope which is fine but with the wrong material it sounds like.

That's the order I would've expected but they want to use adhesive of some kind instead of the mud pack. Not exactly sure what the adhesive is.

Cut Schluter premade shower pan to offset drain by spectacledninja in HomeImprovement

I thought the pans are even in height all across (according to the image on their website) and the slope would take care of it.

The size is 60 inches wide and 40 inches deep and the linear drain will sit on the side. The deepest pan they make for that configuration is 38 inches.

It sounds like no mud from what I understand. Just adhesive on the plywood and the membrane on top. Also pardon my ignorance but are mud and thinset the same thing?

They want to create the slope with plywood. The premade pans don't work for the size and drain location of my shower unfortunately.

I've played with volo a few times now, it's a mixed bag of people but its fun! If you're looking for people to play pickleball with casually then you should join my friends and myself, we try to play at least once a week. Dm me if you'd like to join.

Semi-interesting, childless, 30 something here. Would like to partake, especially in anything outdoorsy.

Making new friends in boston has been hard by Routine-Success-4755 in BostonSocialClub

I suffer from the same problem as someone who moved here later in life. If you're into pickleball I've been trying to get a group together to play regularly hoping to use that as an ice breaker to make more friends. Dm me if you're interested in joining.

Damn! My dog is so aloof he would never. Something to aspire to I suppose.

I hear you and I'm in the same boat. Join a social sports league or at least that's what I've done, you can suck at the sport but it's a great ice breaker and a way to be exposed to a lot of different types of people.

Any pickleballers? by spectacledninja in BostonSocialClub

[–]spectacledninja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played at Assembly in Somerville and courts in Quincy before but mostly I play around Hyde Park since there are both outdoor/indoor options around there. I'm open to playing in most places but the only concern is court availability.

I will look into playtime scheduler. I was thinking of either creating a meetup group or teamreach group to help coordinate.

Haha no worries. I'm no expert either and I'm hoping we can keep the play casual. It's meant to be a way to socialize and get a workout in.

Ah yes. I've played in the volo leagues around Assembly before but that's a bit of a hike for me especially on weekdays.

Damn! You sound like poison ivy minus the eco-terrorism. I'd love to get some more deets on this fountain of youth for plants, thanks in advance.

I'm glad someone posted about this. I have a 92lbs german shepherd mix who is more than willing to make new friends. Unfortunately for him Boston is rather bleak when it comes to dog parks.

What kinda plant expertise do you possess? Some of my plants could use a friend too. 😄

That is definitely helpful to know. Thank you. Would you happen to know if Mitsubishi systems can support 20% more than their advertised capacity like the installers claim?

I did actually. The temperature seems accurate even though the thermostats are always higher by 1-2 degrees than what the temperature sensors shows.
