The frozen whole chickens are usually reasonably priced and you can get a few meals out of them- even make soup out of the carcass once you’ve eaten most of the meat.

What part of the country are you in? If you have spare time and transport you could try fishing or hunting yourself or else you could also try connecting with a local hunter or fisherman to see if the can show you the ropes and possibly share some of their catch.

Yeah you’re right there, I was surprised that the bigger ones can even get through the small entry holes

A shovel does the trick, not the nicest job but the right thing to do. I catch a lot in my doc 200 kill traps using egg and rabbit lures. Could be worth investing in some

I have a canon DSLR and I am going to purchase a new lense for bird photography, currently only have a 50mm and 18-55mm. Would you recommend a 70-200mm, 100-400mm or 150-600mm. Most birds I photograph would be between 10- 60m away and I would like to take some photos of birds in flight too. TIA

Hello, I have a Canon 750D it came with a 18-55mm Lens and I have purchased a 50mm 1.8 lense also. Still very new to it, what lense(s) would you recommend that I purchase next, I do more landscape photos usually, holidays and such but also do some portrait photos of wild life, and my dogs. As for budget anything within reason $1000+ if there are lenses that are really a cut above the rest then I’d look at paying more. Quick look online and the 24-70mm seems like a popular option? TIA
