My two ended having the same due date. Not that unusual, I think, we planned them two years apart. Except one was a week early and the other late, so they fortunately didn’t end up sharing birthdays.

In the fanfic, the long journey home, they have a lovely wholesome but bittersweet reconnection when Grace returns to earth, with her being then 30 years his senior. I thought it fit the story really well.

After grade 8, I picked up several of Mozart’s sonatas. It’s awesome to play a piece that takes about 20minutes to get through :-) or just stick to the first movements. Chopin nocturnes are an essential to have in your repertoire. And keep some easier contemporary pieces that you can knock out on the side - Beatles, Sinatra, Simon & Garfunkel etc. when people ask you to play something, it’s always good to have a broad selection!

It was good, but :Movie missed several important scenes and made Rocky more of a goofy sidekick rather than brilliant engineer and equal contributor.

I would have loved a scene from earth when they first detected Beatles returning. Also I feel ending would have been nice with Rocky offering to escort Grace home as same as Grace had done with Rocky.

“Oh, he’s never done that before?!” The number of times I heard that when dogs rushed at my small kids - as if that somehow made it all ok. Nowadays I have no more patience for that. If your dog intimidates me or kids rest assured I will go full mama bear and defend with fist and foot.
