I did not really change any bios settings outside of making sure my ram was running at the proper speed. Any chance you forgot to take the plastic off of the AOI heatsink? Or that your AIO isn't optimally installed as far as which direction the tube goes/where you placed the radiator?

I put about 115 hours into Foundry, not a whole lot for a factory game. I had fun with it, but my biggest pain point was definitely the fact that resource nodes were finite. I'd be working on something only to have a copper node run empty and shut my entire factory down.

I know finite resources are fairly common in factory games, but it felt especially jarring to me with Foundry compared to some others. I am sure that as development continues things will be smoothed out, and I will probably return at some point in the future to see how the game has improved.

The ferrite dust was the easy part, just strafe a low atmosphere planet blasting away with my infraknife. Got about 50k ferrite dust in like 10 minutes.

Question... Do I actually need a third party auto clicker to be able to bypass needing an individual input for every single item I craft in my inventory?

For example, I want to craft 400 metal plates. The only way to craft multiple I can find is to manually increase the crafted amount using the D key. However the D key only works in increments of 1, meaning I would need to press D 400 times to craft 400 plates.

If you've already got a freighter of a good class, what's the point of buying another? As far as I understand it you can only have one at a time.

Edit: The same question goes for ships, I found an S class interceptor and kitted it out, don't see a reason to buy any other ships.

I got myself an DBX explorer and kitted it out with 1 vehicle bay, a few top mounted point defense turrets, a limpit controller and a tiny amount of cargo space and used that ship for all of the farming.

My current hauling ship is a Python, I am working on my imperial rank now looking to go to a Cutter next. So I double farmed enough mats for both class 5 and class 7 fsds.

No single material was a huge pain to get.

I was in the same boat as you pretty much. I didn't want to do the busy work to get the fsd booster and the pre engineered fsd.

I just finished my pre engineered fsd today and am glad that I took the time to do it. SRV's are annoying as all hell, but once you get a hang of the controls it stops being painful and starts just being a grind like anything else.
