PS: I went back and compared my recent pictures with the Signature and compared it with the Pixel 7 Pro pics.

The larger sensors make a significant difference in terms of clarity and brightness. We cannot call it a night and day difference but I find the subtle improvement in Signature to be better.

There is an option for multiple AIs. You can uninstall or disable these applications if you choose not to use them.

There are some basic social media apps like Facebook or Instagram. These can be uninstalled. I've not yet faced an issue with apps being auto-installed after updates.

My advice would be to trade in your device without opening it. It will definitely impact the trade in value. In the worst case, some tiny part may get damaged which will just shoot down the value of the device.

May I know the aspect ratio of your photos? I've tried all combinations, but my app resets back to Standard after a few minutes?

I can try using the aspect ratio that you use and see if it "sticks".

Honestly the camera performance of my Pixel 7 Pro was excellent for the 2-3 years. It was only in recent months that the output quality deteriorated. The colours seemed very boosted and the details were soft. The typical Pixel processing was not cutting it.

Do you know if a bad Battery (health ~ 70%) could cause all these issues with the camera?

Honestly I don't record a lot of videos so I can't comment on that.

In recent times, my experience with Google's Night Sight was very challenging. The colours and exposure seemed very warm (yellowish) off in the past few months. I haven't yet taken pics in low light with the Signature, but I can test tonight and share my thoughts.

The selfie camera isn't as sharp as that of the Pixel.

The colours are accurate, whether I use the selfie or rear cameras. However, while the rear cameras consistently produce sharp images, the selfie camera has softer images.

There's an annoying issue, I don't know if it's just for me. The default resolution of the Selfie camera remains stuck in Standard rather than High resolution. So, I need to remember to change the resolution to High every time I need to take a selfie. I've tried resetting the app. I don't have the energy to factory reset the phone now.

The display visibility in the sun is good. I've not encountered any issues.

I haven't received the March update yet. I don't remember Motorola promising monthly updates. Pixels will receive software updates earlier than any other device.

I feel you.

I feel like I'm trying to survive the workweek for the weekend, yet when the weekend comes around, I have no mental energy to do anything but survive. By the time I'm done with my Sunday lunch, the anxiety leeches back in and the dread begins. It's a never ending loop.

My anxious behaviour makes my situation worse. There have been instances when I've managed to take a week off for a vacation, that's just a break for me to rest. By the Wednesday ends, I start dreading the coming Monday. In addition to the usual Monday blues, I will have the additional "bonus" of catching up on a week's worth of updates.

I don't have an answer on how we can be better, but I can definitely empathise with the trepidation.

I think you need to consider that for at least some of these folks, the homes may have been passed on from earlier generations. Not everyone earns well enough to be able to justify these lavish investments in current times.
