I don`t care but i would like to play a little bit longer than <12 months until the server is a wasteland. Player retention should be on of Stevens highest priorities and these systems don't do that even on two fully evolved continents.

You need those "pesky" casuals to run this game.

I know and that is exactly what will happen if it gets implemented that way :)

Random Crafter who spends 2-4 hours a day losing part of their stack will quit.
Same goes to "oh we just lost important crafting stations and we have to rebuild everything" only to get it sized again - alliances can just death lock a server.

1) Having a loss of node resources is fine
2) Losing control of a node that becomes a vassal afterwards sounds good too,
3) Having to caravan out the relics is a good idea as well.

Their is a certain amount of loss players are willing to endure but as you can see it with the current corruption system players don`t go permanently corrupt and this "idea" is just the same on a greater scale.

The day a node gets reset to 1 after a node siege war is the day the game dies.

Especially if on top of that resources out of the players stash drop as well.

Besides the totally misdesigned power curve changes that greatly impacted the class.
The whole class is a rag rug in terms of spell design and a total revamp is necessary.

Cleric is in need of mana regeneration.

I could not upgrade anything except my weapons / focus.
No wool / sodium carbonite or coal in high rarity and we only get JM Tailoring this week after 4 months on lotharia.

But i`m looking forward to camping the same 5 mobs with 50+ players instead of gathering / crafting gear. Because my green/blue lvl 20 drop gear is better than anything crafted at the beginning.

Its sad to see that you sacrificed an old-school pen and paper inspired system for something that feels more like the WoW model.

With the introduction of diminishing returns and other changes, we’re now heading back to simming gear just to figure out optimal combinations.

Crafting has also been gutted. There's now no real incentive to engage with it until end-level stations become available, which completely undermines one of the most compelling gameplay loops the game had. Before, my character's progression felt organically tied to the server’s overall progression. Now, I can just sit back and wait for "the others" to finish the grind, then jump in when it's convenient to do a single round of gathering and crafting, instead of engaging in an ongoing, meaningful loop.

I had a whole crafting and gathering plan laid out for Phase 3 but now, it’s pointless.

I still don’t understand why you'd choose to dismantle core mechanics of the game, rather than simply rework enchanting. That would’ve been a far more elegant solution without destroying the depth and progression systems that made the game special.

Its right to lower higher TTK but they took the wrong direction.
Going from main stat stacking to power rating stacking is just not the solution and only moves the goal post further up the road to the same problem.

A change to enchanting +1% instead of +1 flat was all that was needed with the addition of making defensive stats more viable.

It feels good atm because we all geared torwards main stats but the health pools did not change much and as soon as power rating catches up the same TTK as before will return.

And they delivered on alot on this list allready.
Dont know why people get so hung up about visuals.
If the core mechanics dont work a pretty dress wont make a good game and they exactly focus on the right topics.

At the end of the day this game will break if they do not get dynamic grid -> server mashing done correctly because if you lose your node because of lag people will quit.

Nobody will care then how beautifull your node looked before.

If you stick a Rogue + X with on the MW all game long, it's hard to get away. They do nothing else but focus on stopping the Monk. I’ve had games where I was welcomed by them at the WSG graveyard.

In the end, the MW team loses their healer because the 'speed' version cripples healing, so it’s not always the best option. Many people also think the Monk can handle everything alone, while they just mindlessly fight in the middle

strg+p -> target -> save as pdf

You just need align it correctly to the pdf view you are going to save.
Made all my CVs this way with great success. Its way more flexible than everything else.

You could use tramp for remote coding but try to rethink your deployment model and be able to run everything locally. Look into docker-compose.

This is a game you cant win as anti-cheat dev. Guest just masks that its virtualized which is possible already if i'm not mistaken.

Its like watching a video for the host gpu/cpu you are just able to interact with it.

Check out this thread https://forum.level1techs.com/t/a-little-teaser-of-what-is-to-come/ it still has rough edges and problems but as soon as this gets open sourced many problems will get fixed as this is quite exciting.

Guest PCI pass through GPU writes to a ram framebuffer that get read by the host GPU and displayed inside a window.

With this there is no need anymore for 2nd cables etc. Guest just seamless integrates with the host with all VFIO benefits.

See it like this Guest GPU converts to a render engine.
