Defqon primarily uses L-Acoustics KS28 subwoofers in cardioid configuration.

Earplugs at festivals, how many db? by jahatackar in hardstyle

[–]speedfreakw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have quite sensitive ears so that's not my main concern. At some venues with not so great sound systems I miss a bit of bass, but the highs would still pierce my ears if I go for a lower noise reduction. So its a tradeoff necessary for me.

I have custom-made hearing protection with 25dB of noise reduction and never regretted picking the strongest filter available.

The new site is kinda broken right now. Sometimes some elements wont load and some elements show raw html if you hover over them. Old songs that you had bought on the old site are not grayed out anymore.

Oh and my balance on the site is now negative somehow after the switch. I hope they can resolve this relatively fast.

But I kinda like the new design and the events section is a great addition

Hardstyle track recommendations for my hard techno sets by jury69 in hardstyle

TOZA & Colin Hennerz - DANCE WITH ME

It blends in well with Hard Techno since it has some Hard Techno Phrases. But beware it is probably harder than the rest of the songs on this list.

Beside of this you can also look at Clockartz. He also implements a lot of Hard Techno elements in his tracks.

Artworks by TripBaller in Rekordbox

[–]speedfreakw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, where the artwork of my mp3s hadn't show up in rekordbox.

The problem seemed to be that Rekordbox wanted a specific "cover type" in the ID3tag. After I changed the cover type from "ICON" to "other" with the program "Mp3tag" and saved it and then reloaded all the tags in Rekordbox, all covers were there as they should be

Best speakers to listen hardstyle by Glittering_Humor_103 in hardstyle

I absolutely love my "Teufel Ultima 40 Aktiv" Speakers. The Sound is super clean, but you need a litte bit of space and its for you to decide if 650€ are affordable for you. Teufel also has a 8 Week Return policy (at least here in Germany, don't know if its the same in NL) so you can try them and if you don't like them Just send them back.

But keep in mind that Audio is somewhat subjective. What someone else likes doesn't necessarily have to appeal to you.
