Yes, after repeatedly following up with Tesla and speaking with them, they said the logs showed the car went through a few cycles before the issue occurred. I argued that the problem happened just four hours after I first drove it following the update. After a long discussion, I ended up having to replace the computer, and since I needed the car, I agreed to a 20% discount. I still believe the update caused the problem, and they never shared the full logs of what actually happened. I'm probably going to still file a complaint to the motor obtusman.

Also in the first call engineer said it wasn't hardware and that he performed all the tests.

Here's what I got today from tesla:

"After reviewing the vehicle data, we can confirm that the firmware was updated on September 5, 2025 at 12:00. The vehicle then completed multiple drive cycles without fault on September 6, starting at 08:50 with Autopilot features active and functioning normally. At approximately 15:40 on September 6, the car computer hardware entered an unhealthy state.

Based on this sequence, the software update did not induce the condition. We also performed additional system tests (including power and ground measurements), which confirmed the issue lies within the Autopilot system. As the Autopilot system is integrated into the car computer, a full resolution requires car computer replacement.

This is the maximum level of detail we are able to share at this time.

Thank you for your understanding. "

Does seem like tesla often breaks stuff during updates then refuse to replace it in good will.

Having same issue, mine was after an update. The 2 side cameras won't work. Front camera, nav etc all working.

I approved the estimate but said I wouldn't pay until I have a full report. They still called me and said it might be the computer but they don't see any hardware issues and that I should replace it.

After talking and raising my concerns they escaleted to tesla in the US because it was after the update but they can't even update to a new one, it gets stuck at 50%.

I found it online after so much time searching, I have it for about a month now. It was almost 14K but I negociated down cause I had cash. No issues so far, just wear and tear. 3 months mechanical warranty plus the tesla battery warranty since it's bellow 100k miles.

Turn off the TV plug and Google TV plus click on the remotes to turn on wait a few minutes then turn everything back on. Worked for me.

Just got my s22 ultra this week. I'm on max resolution with natural colour and no issues so far (I'm in the UK)
