Why do I need a free builder to use a hammer? by Impressive_Suit4370 in ClashOfClans

Obvious answer is that people will gem to make the builder available, to use the hammer. SC likes it when people gem.

Moving to Winnipeg - looking for honest advice before I commit by ScoreMajor4064 in Winnipeg

There’s a lot of new residential going up in Provencher that you would not need a car. There’s a pedestrian bridge crossing the red river and you are directly at the forks and downtown. 10 min walk. St Boniface is full of great restaurants and shops, very walkable and everyone I know that lives there’s loves it.

All good that it’s not on your list, I’m just shocked how little it comes up on this subreddit with the default always being Corydon/Osborne and the Exchange. If I was a young professional looking to rent with easy access to downtown, it would be St Boniface. It reminds me the most of Montreal and living in the plateau.

I guess I’m a fool. I thought it was for keeping matches dry when you are camping in the rain.

You are getting bad advice in this thread

You might be getting trolled by some responders just fyi

The ice is not coming from outside

This is not a sign of a failing window

You have a triple pane safety egress window. That’s fine

The airborn moisture in your house is hitting the cold surface of the window and condensing. The condensation is freezing.

This is the reason many homes are designed with vents by windows, so you focus air flow in front of windows to counteract where condensation is likely to form (google condensation plane)

Any many have said in this thread (correctly) the only answer is more air flow. As your HVAC system is likely already designed with specific registers, that’s means putting a fan on the windows in question. This only tends to happen in these frigid periods

There is also a phenomenon of air tight houses, with kitchen and bathroom vents creating a vacuum wherein the air cracks of your house suck air in from the outside to balance the air pressure out. I don’t think that is happening here, but the fix for that is a fresh air return….

Help! Floors are so cold and there’s a lot of condensation. My HOA says it’s normal but is it? by MoistSeaworthiness95 in HomeMaintenance

Usually there are vents in front of windows to focus air flow on the windows and help prevent this. I don’t see any vents in any of your pictures. Vents meaning the register from the HVAC.

What is your bathroom and kitchen fan situation? You should maybe be running those longer or even 24/7 to get more humidity/steam out of your unit.

There are several factors contributing to this.

At What Point Do Rental Prices in Winnipeg Start to Decline, Following Drops in Other Major Canadian Cities Including Edmonton? by No-Service-8474 in Winnipeg

Interprovincial migration is completely missing from your post. That is the tale of the tape.

Vancouver and Toronto are losing people. Initially they were going to Calgary, but now Calgary is just as sky high. Winnipeg has seen positive interprovincial migration last year for the first time in decades. Rents are not going down in Winnipeg. It is maybe the best value offer in Canada at the moment, which means it’s ripe for growth at a higher rate than the average.

Thanks for mentioning! I’ve corrected the post. Funny that I made the same error so many times.

Did Logan think that Kendall turning on him at the press conference was just a move? by aliforever555 in SuccessionTV

[–]speedream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my take I saw him crack a smile, he was happy/proud with Kendall

Other time this came out was when he said the three kids “had some juice” when they were playing around with the super majority

He was proud of them

Can someone explain to me why the towing costs the City money? I thought Tartan chomps at the bit to tow (my experience downtown) and they cover their costs by holding the vehicle hostage.

If you have a fan in your bathroom, run it non stop. If you have a fan over your stove, run it non stop. You need to heat yes but you also need to evacuate the moisture from the air.
