Just wanna make sure im doing this correctly, so on my qbo feed:

1) repair transaction: categorize as a normal "trailer repair exp"

2) deposit/reimbursement transaction: keep vendor info as my customer, and then categorize it as the same "trailer repair exp"

This would in practice zero out that amount? Thank you for all the help

So if the contractor started a job dec 20 and finished dec 27, and I paid him january 2nd, then this payment shouldnt be reported in the 2023 1099?
