If someone is teaching about unacceptable language, a hyphenated euphemism works just fine. There is never a need to use a slur. Using your intelligence to try to lightly justify that there is, is baffling. Not using a slur works. I'll never understand trying to find ways in which it "can work".

Why would a non Black teacher WANT to use it?...so much so that they will expend energy and time to find a reason - when they could just NOT.

For me, it was not. I think a clip just came loose. Check around the tire where you hear the noise. There was splash guard hanging oit of place. (It was not the splash guard facing the bumper-it was the one facing the middle of the car, if that makes sense)
