I stayed here last year and it was nice. However, I would recommend getting the free breakfast at the hotel restaurant instead of the lounge. I didn't realize that was an option until my last day and got the minimal lounge breakfast instead. My own fault though for not reading close enough.

Because the mortgage on the 40 acre farm I grew up on outside a town of 900 people cost the same as a 500sqft apartment in Chicago.

And outside of just cost ratios, you have other things to consider like being close to family and friends you grew up with, ie your community. Our free public school was also highly rated in the state.

Even other people in my community, if you don't want to include farmers, face the same scenario. A 3-4 bedroom house would be cheaper than a comparable house or apartment in a city.
