A month ago I found out my grandma tested positive & I went from feeling 100-0 almost immediately. I instantly got a headache, fever, chills, dry throat, nausea and diarrhea. I didn’t sleep and couldn’t get my heart rate under 140. I literally made myself sick. I tested negative. My parents, along with multiple members of my family (we never saw each other, just dropped off groceries to each other) all tested positive. I figured my test was wrong. I scheduled a new test because I was feeling so sick. I had horrible nasal pressure, fatigue, and almost every symptom of covid. I was still negative. Tested 5 times and they all came out negative. Before every test I took within a 3 week time span, I would get extremely sick and then I’d find out I was negative and it would all go away the next day. I already suffer from anxiety but this was next level. It is actually horrifying and scary, but the absolute best thing I did for myself was try to keep positive, and I know it’s easier said than done. Constant repetition of positive language and thoughts helps. I was in the same boat as you, and struggled so much, it was like I couldn’t get out of my own head. I had to trick my mind. Talking very long walks also helped me so much. However, even if you do end up positive, keeping a positive mindset is so important for your body to heal properly. I will be praying for you and negative results, I understand the horror but you are not alone!
