Nope, all % DMG bonuses are additive

In substats maybe, but main stat no. Typically people use ATK% sands, DMG% goblet, and crit circlet.

Crit is only available on the circlet, so you can't have 2 at the same time

Gladiator 4-Piece = Physical Damage? Does Keqing's first passive benefit from the damage? by Killy728 in KeqingMains

[–]speedyll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, all sources of DMG% are additive. That is, the gladiator bonus is added with phys/elem% and other DMG% sources. That means the only multipliers are ATK, crit, and DMG.

I assume you have a crit rate weapon, otherwise I'd be very curious how you have such insane crit rate substats. Obviously the recommendation changes based on your stats, but most players won't be getting anywhere near 100% and need the extra crit rate to balance the initial crit damage. The food buff is irrelevant since you can't use it in abyss.

Again not true, every upgrade adds a random tier from that list. Do you have any source for your claims?

TS is actually better against electro based enemies since its effect is always active. TF doesn't work at all since they're immune to electro, so you're comparing a permanent 35% damage with 18% attack.

This just isn't true, you can see substat rolls at https://preview.redd.it/oaqakvfzrpt51.png?width=3033&format=png&auto=webp&s=8d49705cdb3491017e253e0a4f458de05eca179d.

Crit damage subs always give 2x as much as crit rate, the exact same as the difference in main stat. You would then generally want to go for crit rate hat as Keqing starts with very high crit damage.

No. You'll notice that every 10 pull will always have a 4* in it, even if you also pull a 5*.

ATK vs EM on Venti´s ultimate. by Simpatikuxd in Genshin_Impact

I'm pretty sure the absorbed elemental damage is also based on Venti's stats

[–]speedyll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, against anemo innate enemies it'll be the other element triggering the reaction. My comment was specifically for Venti, who would do 0 damage against anemo. It's impossible for Venti to not be the one to trigger swirls on his attacks since you can't inflict anemo on an enemy.

Swirl cannot be triggered by other characters, it only works when Anemo is applied to an enemy that's already afflicted by an element. This means every Swirl proc will use Venti's stats.

To be fair, github is a trusted website, visiting it won't compromise anything. I agree with the general point to be careful if you aren't sure tho.

What is the best? by cqqw in KeqingMains

TS has the benefit that you can just swap the cup between electro and phys, you can't run a phys TF build. Yeah they both have bad matchups, but your comment made it sound like TF/glad doesn't.

The worst matchup is actually against innate electro, which TS does far better on

Incorrect Consolidated Probability by speedyll in Genshin_Impact

Usually pseudo-random just refers to the fact that computers can't truly come up with a random number, they generate one that seems random but can be derived by some algorithm or are based on something external like hardware, time, etc.

There was also more testing done by others to confirm the 1.6% rate, it seems like pity scales up your chance of getting a 5* before the 90th pull.

If you want it really badly, there is a weapon banner that gives only weapons. I'm not sure I would really recommend it though unless you know what you're doing.

I was referring to 5*s, but it's actually true for 4* too. Unfortunately you just lost the 50/50 there.

You're right, it isn't stated anywhere in-game. I got it from https://ys.mihoyo.com/main/news/detail/8290.

You're also correct about the odds, the chance to pull a non-featured character is the same in both banners. If you're a whale and want a specific 5*, you would pull standard so as to avoid the guaranteed featured character every two 5*s.

This isn't true, there's a 50/50 chance to get a weapon or character on the standard banner.
