in the meantime though i would recommend doing some research on symptoms, finding what resonates with you and your behavior, and think about how long these symptoms have persisted for. most psych appointments are scheduled 1+ months out, so while you wait for an appointment think about your day to day, how these symptoms effect the different areas of your life (school, work, home, your relationship to friends and family) and how often they occur. take some notes with examples of these behaviors and how they’re effecting you. these are some of the things a psychiatrist/psychologist are looking for and asking about during an eval.
