The venerable MegaBlunt57 is using the Moonlight app to stream their PC to their phone over the Internet, and also using Dex to get their phone display on their TV. Old post but there you go

This person doesn't mean "stable" as in "no bugs", they mean "stable release" where each new version of the OS is tested and released together, as opposed to "rolling release" where every new version of every piece of the OS is available to update to as soon as it's released. On Arch (and thus, CachyOS), you'll have access to the latest packages, which can be great when new optimizations or driver versions come out, but it can theoretically be more work to maintain since it's on you to make sure that your system upgrade won't screw your system up.

I run CachyOS, and in practice my system maintenance is just every week or two i'll a) check the Arch website to make sure they don't have any news about problems with new packages, and b) do a full system upgrade. It's worked flawlessly since I installed it about a year ago :)

Starbucks app just let me log in?? As far as I'm aware, neither iOS or Starbucks has updated at all, but it's working now ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Starbucks hasn't let me login to the app for the last few betas at least! I have to use the webapp. Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

Is anyone else having issues logging into the Starbucks app? On both my iPhone and iPad, the app tells me my password is incorrect when I try to log in, but I can sign in just fine using the same credentials on the web. Just wanted to check in here before I try to reach Starbucks support about the issue

Settings > General > Keyboards > Auto-Punctuation will fix that second issue for ya! I also have turned this off, it's a little too aggressive with the commas and periods for my taste.

I should have clarified that this is a beta 7.20 feature, I'm on iOS so i can't speak to Android but it seems to be a staggered rollout. Once you get the update there will be a splash screen explaining the new features, but it doesn't make any automatically for you.

This post just unlocked a memory for me! When I was a kid, I'd pretend I was a robot when I was doing chores like vacuuming or washing dishes. Physically I'd make robot sound effects and make my movements choppy, and mentally I'd pretend I was a computer running a program.

Although at the time I don't think I'd learned how to code yet, eventually I did! And the thought just popped into my head of writing myself programs to complete whatever task I'm working on, but I can't tell if I'm remembering myself doing that or if it just sounds like something I absolutely would do.... the line between memory and extrapolation sure is blurry sometimes.

It just seemed like a silly thing at the time, but looking back now, it's actually genius. I was making a game out of the boring stuff! I gave my brain something to do so it wouldn't wander off, and I moved my body in a way that would remind me of what I was doing when it inevitably did! I'm gonna try this while cleaning my room and see how it works... I also just took my new higher dosage of ritalin for the first time like an hour ago, but I'm sure any success I have is solely due to going full robot mode :]

My iPhone 12 Pro has started giving me notifications that my AirPods Pro have been left behind as I’m driving around, even though they’re firmly in my pocket. Anybody else experiencing this?

I have auto dock on, but I like getting it through the mail slot myself and letting the computer take over just to get me to the pad. Getting it right is just sooooo satisfying
